I co-led a project for GB Surfing to plan their priorities in their early stages of EDI in the organisation. This led to the establishment of an EDI Advisory Board in 2025 at our suggestion.

Co-designed and delivered workshops to assist advocacy and activism rooted organisations and individuals to work more collaboratively together.

My role as Equity Diversity & Inclusion Manager enabled the creation of their first ever EDI Strategy and the introduction of groundbreaking research on participation and guidance on how individual and organisations can embed inclusive working practices.

I created two sector first reports into surfing and diversity. These led to the introduction of inclusion advisory boards for surfing National Governing Bodies.

I am a member of the Women's Sport Collective advisory board, ensuring equity at all levels and allowing a voice for surfing in a mainstream setting.

In 2025, I sat on the advisory board for this festival, enabling community collaboration.

I have been a keynote speaker at this sector leading conference, a contributor to their Ocean Justice Series and now sit on their event steering group to help ensure future events are accessible and placing equity centrally in their planning as part of an amazing team.

As a member of the Core Team to brig the World Surfing Reserve to North Devon (the first UK reserve and the 12th globally), I have been lucky enough to help shape the long term goals of the reserve to ensure 'Waves for all, forever'. I now sit on the stewardship council and will be helping shape their EDI work in 2026.

Working alongside (and with) as an ocean equity ambassador through ocean talks and roadshows..

Sharing work on surf and ocean access equity through trips with their team and online talks and presentations.

The creation of an exhibition on the surfing history of British Women and girls was a work of passion and commitment to history, storytelling and community. This provided a platform locally and across the country to celebrate history but also to secure this as a permanent part of the museum.
